Alice in Wonderland

One of my all time favorite children's book is Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.  I have an old 1930s edition of it that my mother bought for me at a book fair in our library when I was fairly young.  It was one of those books that matched my crazy imagination.

As many of you know, there is a Tim Burton adaptation/sequel coming out in early March which of course leads to a slew of movie related products.  Typically, I am not into buying movie paraphernalia however, I am most excited for two products that are (surprise) part of my industry!  And since the products now appear on other sites for publicity, I can FINALLY post them to my blog!

Oh!  I am so incredibly excited!  I am so excited that I have grown passionately in love with Alice-like headbands and full skirts.  This is evident in my outfit yesterday.  I had to dress up for a vendor meeting (that I later found out was on conference call.  Doh!) so I thought, why not in honor of Alice?

Oh that UD palette looks so exciting!! You're so lucky to work in the beauty biz. Are you familiar with makeupalley.com? You must right? I think you'll like it.

Oh and you know when I keep talking about skirts that I really want but don't suit me? yeah, the one you're wearing!!!!Totally something that I would try on a million times before giving up.

Love the skirt, I've been wanting one of those for a while... it's lucky that you fit into your mom's old clothes (my mom is very petite so I sadly don't fit into her things). Alice in Wonderland is going to be amazing, I can't wait for the movie.

I cant wait to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D this March. I'm a big fan of the old version starring Whoppie Goldberg & Martin Short.

I must have these products!
Great post :)
