R.I.P Dear Brown Sweater

Yesterday I was all prepared to do this fabulous photography session on how to cut your own fringe but at about 7am while trying to dress in the outfit I planned the night before, I realized that my new brown UO cardigan that my mother bought me for my birthday (see above) was left sadly in the Bolingbrook Forever 21 fitting room by accident.  I tried not once, not twice but three times to track it down by calling the store (and the mall security people) with no avail.  Needless to say, I am incredibly upset.  To make it worse, I had to tell my mother who was less than thrilled that I misplaced the $40 sweater she bought me after wearing it one time.  I re-bought it myself because I was so in love with its comfy long sleeve and useful pockets.  *sigh*

Cardigan: Thakoon for Target
Dress (worn as a tunic): Juicy Couture
Pants: Target
Heels: Target
Headband: Karina (I got it from the accessories buyer halfway through the day)

Moving on from my fashion pain, I dressed somewhat sad today.  Ok, so it was due to my sweater lose depression but I did try.  I have this fantastic Juicy tunic/dress that I bought on super-super clearance at Macy's about a year ago and I have never worn it.  I feel like it is too short to be a dress but too long for pants and I lack a good pair of actual leggings.  But I love it.  So, I wore it with stretch jeans today and super high heels.  I felt like it was a bit off fashion-wise all day but, I guess I'll just have to make it up tomorrow!

Lastly, I know one of my New Years resolutions was to do a beauty post once a week but I have been lacking!  So, despite my non-existant fringe trim post I am leaving you with the best shampoo and conditioner I have tried in a LONG time (and I have tried A LOT.  I work in beauty, keep in mind)....

David Babaii for Wildaid!  Specifically the shampoo and conditioner with Amplifying Volcanic Ash.
AMAZING!

So sad you lost your sweater...boo.
However, on a positive note your tunic/dress is really lovely!

ohhh no! I am so sorry about your sweater! That is the worst! I almost left my favorite sunglasses (vintage nonetheless) in a dressing room this week, but remembered after I had already gotten in my car!

I love, love, love your boots BTW!

Aw, that really sucks! I hate losing something that might not be terribly expensive but new and not worn it yet.

Looking forward to more hair/beauty posts though! All i've tried from the David babai line is the waves spray but it leaves my hair sticky and frizzy, not wavy at all! :( Maybe the shampoos are better.

Oh I've left so many items in fitting rooms, it drives me nuts I sometimes think the workers at my favorite stores get excited when I come in because they know I'll leave something behind, I have to run through a mental check list before leaving a fitting room. You look lovely however!

aw, I would hate to loose any U.O. item but especially a new one. glad you updated with the good news though! I sorta did the same thing with my black cardigan the other day. I searched everywhere for it and was about to consider it a lost cause until I found it in my car, lol. you said you bought a second one though? hopefully you can send that back or gift it, or maybe a giveaway? I love this juicy tunic dress, and I think it looks great how your wearing it here. It always sucks when a dress is just about an inch or two too short to be worn alone though!
